Canadian Parents for French Applauds the Ontario Government’s Action Plan to Address the French Teacher Shortage
Education Minister Stephen Lecce and the Minister of Colleges and Universities, Ross Romano, announced the Ontario Government’s investment in a four-year strategic action plan to address the French and French as a Second Language (FSL) teacher shortage in the province.

Students Win Awards at Province-Wide French Public Speaking Competition
Announcing the grade 11 and 12 winners of the provincial Concours d'art oratoire.....drum roll.... 9 Ontario students won the French public speaking competition organized by CPF Ontario. Each winner will have the opportunity to compete at the CPF National finals.
Federal Budget Supports Official Language Bilingualism
CPF welcomes the Federal Government's inclusion of a financial envelope of $180.4 million over three years, starting 2021-22, to Canadian Heritage to support students across the country achieve their goals of official language bilingualism.
